Principal's Message
A Warm Welcome to the School Year!
Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
I am Maria Sandoval, and I am deeply honored to serve as the Principal of Virgie Robinson Elementary.
This year marks the beginning of my 24th year in education, and it is with great pride that I share that 18 of those years have been dedicated to the Pasco School District. During my tenure here, I have had the privilege of wearing many hats, including serving as a Bilingual 2nd, 4th, and 5th-grade teacher within the instructional programs of bilingual, spectrum, and two-way. I have also taken on roles as an instructional biliteracy coach and an assistant district administrator.
I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to lead Virgie Robinson Elementary, where our commitment is to provide an exceptional educational experience that equips, challenges, and empowers all students to reach their highest potential.
The Virgie Robinson staff forms a close-knit community of dedicated educators who are passionately committed to the philosophy of being a "by all means necessary" school. This means that we engage in a collaborative cycle of collective inquiry and take proactive steps to ensure that ALL students experience high levels of learning.
Once again, I am humbled and honored to serve this remarkable school community. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to partner with each of you in the journey of educating and supporting your child, ensuring their success throughout the upcoming academic year.
Wishing you and your child a year filled with growth, discovery, and achievement.
Warm regards,
Maria Sandoval
Principal of Virgie Robinson Elementary School
